Darrel Gamotin – The Boy
Darrel Gamotin is very thrilled to be working and learning from this Modern Times Theatre family. He was last seen in the Jason Maghanoy play "The Corner" at the Next Stage Theatre Festival and prior performing in George F. Walker's TOUGH! at the Factory Theatre which both opened to four star reviews. Darrel was fortunate enough to film his first feature called “Ang Pamana: The Inheritance” and follow its success in festivals like the Hawaii International Film Festival, Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival and the international release in the Philippines. He is also grateful to have perform with the comedy troupe Asiansploitation at various Toronto stages like the Diesel Playhouse, Bad Dog Theatre and Second City. He has recently ventured into playwriting with a short play featured in Carlos Bulosan Theatre's playwrights showcase TALES FROM THE FLIPSIDE in March (www.carlosbulosan.com).
