Trevor
Schwellnus – Set Designer
Trevor is a Toronto-based scenographer and sometimes writer. In the past year
he has designed for Aluna Theatre (Madre - a memoir), Small Wooden Shoe (
Dedicated to the Revolutions), George Brown College (Arabian Nights),
Foreign Landscapes (Bird's Eye View , winner of the 2007 SummerWorks
Prize), publicrecordings, Nightwood, Jumblies, Independent Auntie, and Modern
Times Stage Company (2007 Dora nomination for lighting, The Sheep and the
Whale ), in venues across the city. He designed lights for Summerworks in
2006 and 2007, and his play "meeting playce" was produced in 2003. In 2004 he
won a Dora award for Outstanding Set Design of For Sale. Upcoming: Double
Bill (choreographers Ame Henderson and Michael Trent) with Dancemakers.
