An ancient
couple live alone in an island lighthouse. In order to make public the Old Man's
brilliant political thesis, they organize an enormous reception to which they
invite distinguished guests from around the world to hear his message to
humanity. But the couple's soiree goes awry when the chairs arrive but the
guests are invisible.
